Transeuropa Shipping Lines has been operating successfully between the two ferry ports of Ramsgate (UK) and Ostend (Belgium) since 21 November 1998. The company Transeuropa Ferries N.V. was founded on the first of June 2001. The company started as a single ship freight only operation between Ramsgate and Ostend. It expanded to include passengers in July 2004. Transeuropa are the only ferry service operating directly from England to Belgium. Transeuropa Ferries currently have 6 ships, crossing up to 20 times per day between Ramsgate and Ostend, with 8 of the sailings taking passengers.

Crossing time is approximately 4 hours.

Transeuropa Ferries run passenger ferries between the ports of Ramsgate (Kent, England) and Ostend (Flanders, Belgium). If you're looking for a cross channel ferry between the UK and Belgium, Transeuropa Ferries can offer up to four passenger car sailings in each direction per day.

Transeuropa is the only cross channel operator into Belgium. Ostend is over 80km closer to The Netherlands, most of Germany and the East than Calais.

Transeuropa Ferries does not allow pets onboard their ships.
